Puppet Theatre BAJ in Torun, Poland

Torun is the city I visited last weekend. By train it takes almost 3 hours to get there and still the quality of train is really poor - this I hope will change soon. Regular ticket price for fast train, one way, is 42 PLN.
Weather was sad and wet, but Torun as always worth to see in Poland.
Today I post pictures of amazing puppet theatre in Torun. When you enter such building you already enter a fairytale. Beautiful example how architecture can convey the spirit of the place.

Place in Poland where you may walk under river with the dry feets...

Fojutowo - Unique aqueduct in North Poland, located in Bory Tucholskie, one of the oldest forests in Europe.
A crossing between river and man made channel - hydrotechnology originating in past centuries. This place was build in 1848 in order to enable the crossing of creeks. Lower flows Czerska Struga - natural creek, upper flows Grand Channel of Brda River (man made).
How does it look from space, you can see below on the picture from satellite.

Sopot - worth to see in north, too crowded in the season

Sopot originates in 7th century as a Pomeranian stronghold. Initially it was a commercial trade outpost for commerce extending both up the Vistula river and to cities north across the Baltic Sea.
Place worth to see - depending on personal preferences - in July and August too crowded. Weather is still nice May-June/September-October.

In Sopot, if you go little off the main streets, you can see beautiful old housings and villas.

In Sopot there is long and beautiful woodden bridge 515 m long, that goes into the sea - this is how it looks under.
